Serenity merrily wandered through the park, her cheerful mask giving her the energy to go out and have tons of fun! But what type of fun? Well, she didn't know, but she knew everything was going to be tons of fun! The masked girl thought of many places to go, and eventually just wandered away from the dorms. Soon enough, the aimless wandering led her to the park! And parks were fun! The girl just began skipping across the park's soft grass and thought about all of the good things that were going on around her. Birds were chirping, the wind was gentle (so it didn't upset her masks on her ring. Oh, and it was nice feeling), and it wasn't really that hot out outside. Was this what people called a great day? Because Serenity thought she was having a great day!
Serenity soon found her way to a shady tree, though, and plopped down next to it, soon just lying down under the shade. She adjusted her masks so that they were out of the way, yet let the happy mask rest atop her face still. She didn't care that she stuck out like a sore thumb. It was just time to relax. And that's what she planned on doing!

Isabella had made her way to the Park, classes weren't going on right now so she had decided to make a trip into Domino from the dorms. There was actually something that she wanted to see about at the pet store, but before she could work up her courage to go in there she had come to the park. Recently one of her beloved ferrets had died, but Bella had often brought them here to the park to play. She was bundled up and stood there looking around with a bit of a thoughtful expression on her face.
The park was definitely a good place to come to, it was nice and relaxing and perfect for clearing your head if there was too much going on up there. Bella sighed, she had began walking again, and her eyes feel onto another person who had ventured along this way. She looked at her curiously, noticing that she had a few different mask with her, one covering her face. Oddly enough, Bella didn't find it too unusual, she just couldn't help being curious about why. Before too long, she found herself walking closer towards the girl and stopping not far away, standing underneath a nearby tree. She spoke up softly, her voice was light and there was a soft french accent to her words.
"It's really nice out here isn't it?"

This day was just plain relaxing. If it wasn't for the fact that somebody came over, she probably would've fallen asleep! She probably would've woken up if she rolled atop one of her masks, though. Or if an acorn fell on her head. But that might not have happened! It would probably have gotten awkward if she didn't respond because she was asleep! But since she wasn't, well, the point has been spoken already.
Serenity lifted her head up to nod while she spoke from under her mask, "Oh, yes! It's a really great day out today!" She thought to herself for a moment though, then continued to speak based off of her thoughts, "Wait...who would you be? I'm Serenity!" She didn't even bother to realize that she looked weird right now. It was just a happy day today!

She wasn't really sure what had gotten into herself. She wasn't usually the type to talk to strangers out of the blue like that. There had just been something curious about the girl and Bella had spoken without really thinking about it. A flush of red came across her cheeks as she looked down at her shoes, something common for her whenever she was feeling nervous or embarrassed about something.
"Oh, uh my name is Isabella, but most people just call me Bella. It's nice to meet you"
She gave a soft smile despite her nerves... Bella was a very friendly and open person deep down, but she had trouble communicating well since the troubles with her family and back at Duel Academy. It was amazing how a few people could cause a person to be so troubled so that their personality changed to being closed up with others.

Bella? That was a cute name! Serenity liked it! She giggled under her mask and responded, "Nice to meet you too, Bella!" Of course, though, the girl under the mask noticed something. Something peculiar...embarrassment? Fear? Something among those lines, probably. Serenity had those problems, too, so she knew very well what was going on. That's why she wore those masks! but it wouldn't be nice to make assumptions, though. So Serenity sat up first before she began to question Bella. Why? Her surprised mask was better for thinking, she thought. So she turned the ring on her head around to where the surprised mask was over her face.
Now that she was comfortable, Serenity hummed with curiosity, a different tone of voice and a different mindset taking control of her. "Something's wrong," Serenity spoke, "What's wrong? You look like you're standing naked in a crowd or something. Which I'm pretty sure is a bad thing." Whoa. When did the birds seem so startling? Probably just the mask. This was normal, Serenity guessed.

Bella smiled warmly as she looked up shyly at the girl with her mask. It was odd for her to be out talking to strangers like this, but kinda nice as well... after all she didn't have too many friends because of being such an introvert.... actually she had two best friends and one of them was a ferret. Perhaps it would do her some good to learn to communicate with more people, especially if she was going to be going to the University here.
"Oh no, I guess I'm just not really used to talking to a lot of people." Bella took note of the girl changing her mask around, but she didn't say anything about it. After all, she was probably considered weird for not having many friends or being talkative all the time so who was she to judge someone else for what they did? She glanced around, listening to the birds, she hadn't really noticed them in her nervous state.
"I guess I just thought it might be nice to learn to talk to people more, and you seemed to be enjoying the park here as much as I usually do"

Serenity thought about this for a moment before responding with a few stutters, "Well, I-I guess so." What did this remind her of? Well...it kind of reminded her of...herself! Bella was kind of like Serenity, though Serenity was pretty sure she was much worse. After all, Bella could speak to people easily without having to hide behind masks. Serenity could barely mutter a sentence without her precious face covers! Serenity admired Bella for this. It made her feel good about herself somewhat. Though, well, no one could see it. All people could see was the mask overlaying her face. But that didn't bother her.
"You know, I was kind of like that too," Serenity admitted, "I-I didn't speak to anyone before. I wear masks to help me talk to people because...w-well, it makes me feel like someone else and not the girl who's too nervous to speak." An embarrassing story, she thought, but it was the honest truth. Her cheeks turned slightly red, and she pulled the surprised mask closer to her face, though doing so while it was on a ring was kind of hard. This day was going better and stranger than she thought! It was sort of scary!
...the last part of that the mask added in her head.

Bella smiled while looking around the park, she had a lot of good memories here, luckily her bad memories were left at her families home in Domino or at the Duel Academy from a while ago. It was going to be nice going to Domino University where hopefully she would get a new start and make new memories with her best friends, as well as hopefully new friends that would stick around with her. This girl could be a new friend, Bella didn't mind her behavior with the mask, after all she was shy and had trouble talking to others so that could be seen as a problem to some.
"If it helps you to speak to others then there's nothing wrong with that, everyone has their own ways of communication" Bella looked back and gave a soft smile, before glancing at her shoes again, embarrassed for speaking out so openly. "Besides I think that it's okay to be nervous talking to other people. It might not seem like a lot, but I have one friend who is okay with me being this way and that has made me really happy, in fact life is better like this then whenever I was pretending to smile for others and talking cause it was expected." Bella gave a little shrug, being nervous around others was okay... sometimes people just couldn't help the way that they were
