Phase I
Duel Academy has always been a place of chaos where strange things have been known to happen. Most often these events have caused trouble for the name of Dueling because of their negative effects on people and occasionally the world:
-Duel Spirits appearing in Domino
-The world nearly being sucked into the Shadow Realm
-Students disappearing
-Monsters possessing students and staff
-Injuries from dueling
-Dark forces traveling to the Academy in disguise to bring destruction
-Duel Spirits coming to life and attacking everyone in sight
Prior to the last Spirit Festival, Spirits found a way into our world through a tournament where they stole the energy that was being produced through their duels of those who were competing in the tournament. The Spirits opened up a portal into our Realm and they attacked the world. The spirits went after humans, destroyed buildings, and ruined nature.
While these events are not the only ones to cause trouble for the world, Seto Kaiba has been forced into taking a personal interest in what is happening at the Duel Academies that he has built. These recent troubles have gotten parents and citizens into an uproar as they are attempting to ensure that their children are safe on this island with the few adults there to watch after them. Some are wondering just what these children are being taught that puts them into such a hostile environment.
In order to quiet the concerns of everyone, Seto Kaiba has hired a corporation to look in on the Academy and see what's going on there. This corporation is composed of Pro League Duelist and other professional duelist who have gathered together in order to increase their own skills without all of the boring school work that the Academies provide. Usually these duelist only work on their skills for their upcoming matches, though with the money that Kaiba has offered them, and their bosses sway, they are going to travel out to Kaiba's Duel Academy in order to preform an inspection.
These "Inspectors" will be attending classes to ensure that the teachers are teaching material that is required, as well as to be sure that the students are attending the classes and learning. If they find a professor to be lacking in their teaching, they are able to remove said professor from their teaching position.
Along with watching the classes, they will be randomly dueling against students, professors and anyone else that they see fit to duel. During these duels, they will judge whether the students are actually getting the education that Seto Kaiba originally planned upon.
Will the students and Professors live up to the expected criteria of the inspectors and their boss? Everyone will have to try and hope for the best to turn out. Though all of the luck in the world may not save everyone from their decision.

- Leader of the Duelist Company (Either you or we can come up with a proper name.)
- Inspectors (Pro League Dueling level - to - Ra Dueling Level.)
***You DON"T have to be Pro League/Violet/Obelisk or Ra in order to be an inspector. We're only saying that your dueling level needs to be around that range for this particular part.
***We need between 5-8 of these people.
(So if you want to get involved in the plot in some manner then please PM a staff member about being an inspector/the Leader.
**You'd probably want to make a new character for this spot unless your new or a traveling duelist who isn't already away from he Academy so the students won't know you already.)
