Name: Amy Morrison
Age: 22 Years Old
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Amy's personality can be summed up in one word, "impish". Never at a loss for a joke or trick, the woman sees every day as another chance to lighten the mood of the everpresent gloom that reigns over her charges. She knows firsthand how depressing things can be in the situation she works in, but that only drives her more to make sure she keeps spirits high. While she's capable of being serious and heavy-handed when the situation calls for it, she'd much rather keep her light-hearted demeanor and ever-present mischievous smirk.
History: Amy Morrison did not have a pleasant childhood.
It wasn't as if her parents ignored or abused her - even though her dad was a lawyer and her mom a wedding planner, they made sure to set aside time for their only child. What made things difficult was the degenerative nerve disease that left her wheelchair-bound and paralyzed from the waist down. Despite missing weeks of school at a time from complications and other illnesses, she kept her spirits up with jokes and games to take her mind off her disabilities. As she turned 10 years old, the Morrisons' were quickly running out of options for their daughter, and at Amy's urging in a rare moment of morbid solemnity chose to put their faith in an unproven and risky surgery.
To say it worked a miracle would be an understatement. Within 6 months, Amy was free of the wheelchair. Within a year, you couldn't tell she was on death's door with how...normal she seemed. A horde of private tutors schooled the girl, quickly bringing her up to speed and pushing her ahead as her parents guided her into the field that gave her a second chance at life. Getting into med school at 19, Amy kept her hardened focus and light-hearted attitude as she took up residency at Domino General, acting as head of the local college infirmary to fulfill the hours necessary to get initials after her name. But that dream doesn't mean she's forgotten how to play the game that rules the roost in this city.
