A young woman stepped off of a boat and made her way down along the pier. It was easy to see that a few people gave her a glance over considering that she didn't look like your typical person here in Japan. She stood at 5'9" and while her long black hair and brown eyes were normal, her darker complexion and numerous tattoos made her stand out pretty well. Of course the fact that she was dressed as she was in this cool fall weather could aid to the issue. The young woman wore jeans that were more brown then blue and a brown tank top with a red plaid shirt over top of it and brown boots on her feet. And around her neck hung the wooden carving of a coyote on a leather cord. Her father had created it a month before he passed on, telling her the spirit of the coyote would always watch after her.
The air was cool and chilled her skin a little, but to be honest the feel of this weather was so much nicer then what she had been dealing with during her stay in Egypt. At least in America they had normal weather, her past three years in Egypt were a nightmare with the insane heat that seemed to linger in the air all year long. Anna stretched her arms over her head a bit before making her way over to where luggage was being brought from the ship. Most of her belongings had already been sent over, but she had a few things that she liked to keep close to her all the same.
Taking a quick glance over the bags, she noticed hers, it was a leather handmade bag. It had been made of buckskin, her father had caught the deer and she had made it herself. Anna smiled at a couple of others who were gathering there bags and staring at her before she turned and walked away from them. At the end of the pier, she stopped and stood there looking at the town before her. This was Domino City and once she managed to wrangle up a ride, she would be on her way to the college near by.
The city looked nice and she was glad that the weather seemed to be the same as what she was used to so she could finally unpack her winter clothing that she had boxed up ages ago. Her eyes moved over the part of the city that she could see in front of her, a hint of a smile appearing on her lips. Ever since her father had passed away, Anna had been on her own and she went from one adventure to another, and from what other people could tell, it seemed that she was fearless. This was just another adventure in her eyes. Yeah she had been sent here on a mission, but she was going to make the most out of this chance.
