A figure in black could be seen gliding through the branches of the trees. She moved slowly taking her time as she walked through the forest without much of a purpose. Roxie had grown up in Domino, mostly on the streets, and often times she found herself wandering through this very forest to sort out her thoughts and feelings. Now, Roxie actually had an apartment to live in and she had even managed to get herself accepted at the local college. It was the weekend and she didn't have to attend class so she had taken a bus into town before walking here all on her own. It was peaceful out, most people wouldn't come this way because of the cold.
Fall was making way for winter and she had a feeling that soon the ground would be painted white and the trees would be void of all their leaves, left to hold snow on their branches and bend under the ice storms that would try to hold them down. Roxie knew that when winter arrived she couldn't walk through here as often as she did now, it would be far too cold and easy to get lost once everything was coated in white.
Roxie stopped herself at a small clearing in the trees, piles of brown leaves littered the ground and the trees themselves looked dead and alone without their leaves to give them life and color. Her long black hair was hanging down loose around her and she wore a black trench coat over top of black pants and a black sweater along with ankle high black boots. She wasn't the type to get cold easily, which one might not guess considering the pale white contrast of her skin, but it was good for her since that enabled her to walk around during this type of weather without having to hurry to seek shelter. Her hand brushed some of her hair over her right shoulder, pushing it behind her ear so that it would stay out of her face while she moved. She took in her surroundings once more, yes, this seemed like a good place to relax without fear of bumping into any unwanted company.
