My character is going out for the role of Twilight Duelist.
My character would be good as a Twilight Duelist because of the way in which it creates a rift inbetween himself and his sister in that they become oppositionally direct in their seperate duties to the Dawn and Twilight Realms respectively. As they are both so close as siblings this would allow for a much bigger tension to be created in the relationship.
In addition to this it gives Alexander a mthod by which he can get his revenge on the person responsible for sending him to the shadow realm in that he is now on the same tier as that person. All in all a Twilight Duelist position would allow for Alex to develop his own storyline much further and partake in the plotlines of others as well.
The reason why I would benefit the site as a Twilight Duelist is because I'm active member and a duelist of decent ability and as such Alex could be used effectively in whatever plots may arise. As I am currently only playing Kayla and Alex my activity would remain high with both characters and as such I have the capacity to create strong interrelating plots between Alexander and his twin.

With a flick of his wrist Alexander motioned towards an empty space in the air infront of him. Clenching his eyes he focussed on that place he'd only seen in his dreams and only heard about from his duel spirit. A rapid vision of colours morphed and twisted inside his mind yet he remained with his eyes tightly shut so as to not lose the focus he'd worked so hard to gain.
He stood there for a few minutes as the short grass rustled at his feet. No one would see him here, in the middle of the fields between the academy and the mountains at the peak of the night. Yet when a brilliant flash of white mixed with gold shot out from the once empty space infront of him Alex couldn't help but wonder if anyone had noticed anything from their dorm.
As his mind wandered he lost focus and his hard work was all but wasted. He held his hands to his head in frustration and growled for a moment before a voice came into his head.
Never mind it Alexander... It will work for you soon enough. Such things take time.
He sighed, realising the wisdom between his duel spirit's thoughts but all the while wishing he could ignore them. With a deep breath he turned and begain to make his way back to the academy. His mind still racing with thoughts, hopes and dreams of what the untouchable Twilight Realm might hold for him when he finnaly broke through the barrier that had prevented him from gaining entry for so long.

In addition to this if this role was not given to me on the basis that Kayla is already a Dawn Duelist then I completely understand. My Character is applying for the role of Shadow Duelist....
My character would be good as a Shadow Duelist because... Flora has the personality to carry the role. Essentially, after years of her closeted existence, she would be the idea vessel for the shadow because she would be easily manipulated by the shadow powers. Because of her isolation while growing up, she would easily develop puppet personalities that represent a distinct cognitive schism within her mind. Being a shadow duelist would not only be good for her insofar as developing a plot, but because of the personal struggle for her.
Flora is an individual of good intentions. But the old axiom goes that the path to hell is littered with good intentions. She is both naive enough to believe the best in everyone, and proactive enough to make an effort to change what she views as unjust. She possesses a malleability that makes her a very easy target for the shadow, and in addition, is a very capable duelist. The shadows would naturally target her.
The reason why I would benefit the site as a Shadow Duelist is... As I'm sure many of you can see, the activity of the site isn't where I believe it should be. I feel like I can contribute a genuine plotline, with realistic progression, towards the site. I could also give Flora more reason to be active, which she hasn't had enough of since the tournament. Being a shadow duelist would mean that I could put up new threads and offer new avenues of roleplaying, as well as bringing a renewed sense of urgency to the existing players.
I am also a decent duelist and active member, and I feel like I can contribute more to the site when in a position of more plot significance.

"I couldn't do anything."
Her heart fluttered, her chest pounded. She heaved a few heavy sighs, her voice caught up in her throat and squeaking out in low whisper. She had seen one of her classmates tortured by the spirit, her body wracked with pain. She had moved to help her, but her hand caught next to her body, paralyzed by fear. She took a look deep into the eye of the beast, and saw something that rocked her to the core.
A moment of silence. Her gasp caught in her throat, her fingers at her side, clenched around an intangible object. She wanted to move, she wanted to help, but her body did not respond. Flora's mind struggled; she wanted to kick, to scream, but nothing came out when she opened her mouth, no movement came when she wished her limbs to action. The moment grew longer. The nervewracking stillness of that moment strangled her. Her lungs longed for air, but somehow she could not even muster a gasp. Tears welled up in her eyes, but in her uselessness, she lacked even the ability to cry.
"I couldn't help..."
Days had passed. Hours crept by slowly, painfully. She had played and replayed that moment endlessly in her mind. She had seen the same spirit, felt the same terror, struggled with the same futility, and each time she wanted to kick and scream. Each time she failed, unable to break the cycle of hopelessness. She had failed each time, and Flora began to wonder if the memory would haunt her for all eternity. The memories did not stop. They did not fade or grow weaker.
"I couldn't---"
"Help? Perhaps I can help..."
She started up, bloodshot eyes rising from her pillow, and glanced out into the darkness. Looming in the middle of her dorm room was a great shadowy presence.

Shareen has walked away from the realm of the light and hopes she'll find better hope with the Shadow Duelists. She belives that what they are doing is the way forward and will do anything to help them. Shareen has always dreamed of becoming a Shadow Duelist and because she has her father's deck she knows there will be no stopping the group as they will have gained more power.
The reason why I would benefit the site as a Shadow Duelist
Having Blue Eyes White Dragon in her deck she has power. Power that the Shadow Duelists need or so she thinks. She is a good duelist using her head more than her heart when she is in combat.

Time for her duel was near. Shareen wore a long leather trench coat, skinny black jeans and a shirt with a dragon on it. Blue Eyes' spirit edged her on and she smiled evilly. "Denying this world is right Blue Eyes...Are you ready?" she said. Blue Eyes roared then disappeared. She came across her opponent. "Well lets see what you've got." she smirked. She activated her disk. "I'll make the first move." she smiled. "I summon Saggi the Dark Clown in attack mode." she said. "Then I'll place this card face down and end my turn." she added. The young boy about fifteen or sixteen drew his card. He played a cat like monster and attacked Saggi. "Smart move but not smart enough. I play a trap Negate Attack. Your attack for now is cancelled out." she explained. The boy ended his turn by placing another monster on the field in defense mode. Shareen chuckled and played her Pot of Greed and drew two more cards. Two of her three Blue Eyes White Dragons were in her pale hand. Just one more then I can use Mircale Fusion. she thought. "Saggi attack his monster now." she ordered. The Clown ran across the feild and destroyed his monster. Saggi went into defense mode when his attack was over. She ended her turn. The boy summoned another monster and destroyed Saggi then attacked Shareen's life points directly. Shareen was smiling when the cloud of smoke cleared. She drew another card. Her third and final Blue Eyes. "I play Mircale Fusion and fuse all my Blue Eyes White Dragons to summon Blues Eyes Ultimate Dragon." she smiled. She ended her turn. The boy was in awe of the Dragon. He sacrificed his monsters and summoned another, more powerful one. He ended his turn. Shareen chuckled. "Kids today." she sighed. "Blue Eyes Ulitamte Dragon attack his monster then his life points directly." she said. The Dragon flew up into the air and a blue, white orb formed in his jaws. The monster was destroyed another orb formed and it was fired at the boy. Defeated, the boy lay on the ground and Shareen walked away not giving him a second glance.

My character would be good as a Shadow/Twilight/Dawn Duelist because...He has a spirit partner of his own allowing him being a Twilight Duelist to be More Benifitial to the Plot and since hs has a CareFree Attitude along with a Passion for Dueling,It would be a Good way for The character to Develop in the plot.

As i said in the last question,Since he has a spirit partner,He would benefit more from being a Twilight duelist and My character(Me) Will try his best to provide a good,fun roleplaying experience to develop the Plot in General and Maybe even the Personal Plot of my character,

Thanks to this Great card,I can Pick One Elemental Hero From my Deck and I pick Elemental Hero Sparkman! And now I i Activate Polymerization! I fuse Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental Hero Burstinitrix to Summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!" Takura smirks as The two Monsters began swirling into One another intill Finnaly Becoming FlameWingman.

I am not sure if it's true, but I had heard from Jim that Shareen Kaiba left the site. If this is true, then I submit this application for her Shadow Duelist spot. If not, then ignore this until a spot opens up.

My character would be good as a Shadow/Twilight/Dawn Duelist because...
Kaia has a history as a very powerful shadow sorcerer who almost destroyed the planet twice. He was a primary servant of Diabolos, the dread king of the abyss who granted him many dark powers. Thus, Kaia has a great familiarity with the shadow realm and shadow powers, having lived with them for most of his life. After he lost his powers due to Diabolos's defeat he became bitter and decided to go about trying to move his plans forward without the use of his powers, but at the same time would love to possess such abilities once again.
However, just because he lost his powers the first time dose not mean that he can't obtain powers again. Villains have a nasty way of coming back, and with a long history of being a shadow duelist, and the darkness and wickedness necessary to fill the roll, it would not be a stretch to say that Kaia could gain powers again. Preferably these powers would come from the return of a (weakened) Diabolos who would grant Kaia SD powers so he could gather souls to make him stronger. (Though this is not the only option for how he could gain back his powers.) However, other options are on the table if Diabolos returning is "too big" an event.
Beyond an easy transition from duelist to shadow duelist, Kaia also has something most SDs don't, a position of real power in the world. The Mordrake Family is one of the wealthiest and most powerful families on earth, as one of the patriarchs of the family Kaia has access to vast resources to aid him in his quest for power. He could threaten more then just a few students, if the staff ever needed him too. However at the same time could easily lay low and not take away from the primary arc villain if there was such a plot in effect. Kaia also has the smarts and ruthlessness necessary to be an excellent evil overlord and has significant experience in villainy. This would make him a deadly and competent shadow duelist, seeing as from his past experiences he now knows what works well and what works horribly.
The reason why I would benefit the site as a Shadow/Twilight/Dawn Duelist is...
In the past I have played major site villains. As the Dark Master I terrorized Academia GX, gaining a reputation as one of the site's best villains. Simply put, I love to be evil, and I also am great with making big plots that stir up things on sites. I am known as an arc maker and have earned staff spots on sites because of my plot ideas.
As a shadow duelist, I would always be here to move things along and make plots that I otherwise could not make due to a lack of shadow powers. Simply put, I'm good at being bad and strongly desire the chance to show my evil side and stir things up around the site, which I could do easily with the powers of a shadow duelist. I would be an asset in the fact that if ever there was a need for a villain to cause some trouble, I would be there, ready and more then happy to cause it. I am also not half bad as a duelist. While I know better duelists then me exist, I do know that I can hold my own in a duel and would provide a SD who is at least somewhat challenging, though others on here could very well be better then I am.

Today was a good day for Kaia. He had beaten his rival and now he was well on his way to starting his newest pet project which was far from safe or even sane. He was happy, but he did not show it in a way that made him seam like the more cheery student body. He simply walked through the hall, cold and cocky, with a smirk on his face as he was absorbed in his own ego. He had beaten his rival, and now that "dumb blond "headmistress would be coned into letting some of her students test some dangerous technology. Everything was going according to plan.....until he came to the other side of the hallway to notice a all too familiar face standing with the academy staff.
"Well, hello there. I'm surprised to see you here. I thought that you would never want to show your face again after I wiped the floor with it."] Kaia said to Odin, arrogant as usual.
He then turned to Yura and his cocky demeanor changed to one of business as he begin to speak to the headmistress.
" Now, I'm sure you know who I am, Yura. If not, then I will tell you this, I run Draconian Industries, the company that makes the duel monsters card game, and I am here on business regarding product testing....and I feel that some of your students would be perfect for the job."

I wanted to applie for Realm Duelist...but i saw that they are all Ocupied  . If there is a spot left i would like to be one please. My character is going out for the role of either Shadow/Twilight/Dawn Duelist: I would like to apply for Twilight Duelist. My character would be good as a Shadow/Twilight/Dawn Duelist because... Eversince Kanika hurt her father while dueling she has been searching for an awnser why. She heard of a place where duel monster were alive. Kanika figured that maybe that is where her power comes from. When she attacks with a monster or activates a spell or trap it becomes reality. Just like in that place where Duel Monsters are reality. She also has a spirit card herself witch she talkes to. Her Spirit is Black Rose Dragon, do to her Kanika partially snapped out of her isolation.She talkes again, but not to people, to Duel Monsters. The reason why I would benefit the site as a Shadow/Twilight/Dawn Duelist is...When Kanika is in the Twilght Realm she will try and figure out what cuased her powers. Of course she will never use her powers to harm the Monsters that live there. Even if Kanika will not be able to find the cuase why she has these powers she will atleast try and control it. Provide a roleplaying sample...Kinake was meditating in the grass near a lake. There were alot of spirits in it. It was that clear that you could see the a few 7 Colored Fish swimming past once in a while. They were giving a nice bright light. There were also a few Boneheimer's swimming by. In the middle of the Lake was an huge island. Some say that it was part of an Island Turtle but it wasn't sure. They say that the Turtle is protector of this lake. But then again it still wasn't sure. Behind Kanika was a forest. There was a group of Bee List Soldiers flying by with alot of berry's. With all that food they were probably going to the Insect Queen becuase it was breeding season. The insect with the best offer got to match with her. It were probably not going to be the Bee's that flew by, becuase most of the time it was the bigger the better. Normally it were Ultimate Great Moth that would get to match with her. Kanika was waiting for Rosal to return. She was pattroling through the forest and would be back any minute now. A few realm duelists will be looked at for activity, and if one or more are inactive you'll get their spot. However you still need to fill out the application as everyone else did before the next step. As for the ring, the items like that are only given out to certain people by their guardians, and you would have to show you ability in roleplay and dueling before you could be considered.
